    The Lumberton Township School District seeks a current college education major to serve as a paid intern during the Summer 2021 Extended School Year program. This position is assisting special education teacher(s) and will provide excellent real life classroom experience for a future teacher. We are a three school, high performing K-8 district in beautiful, rural/suburban Burlington County with a dedicated staff, dynamic administrative team and supportive community.

    Paid Educational Internship (Part-Time)

    The successful candidate must possess the following:

    • Commitment to culturally responsive, trauma informed educational practices required
    • Dates: July 6 – 29, 2021 – Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
    • Time: 8:30 – 11:30 AM
    • Location: Bobby’s Run School, 32 Dimsdale Drive, Lumberton, NJ 08048
    • Compensation: $540.00 for successful completion of the internship ($15 per hour times 36 hours)
