School Funding Testimony – Superintendent Joe Langowski

Superintendent Joe Langowski testified before the NJ Assembly Budget Committee and the NJ Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee about school funding on 3/27/19.

A video of his testimony can be found HERE.

He urged NJ legislators to pause state aid cuts that are impacting over 300,000 public school students throughout New Jersey and requested that they convene a bi-partisan joint committee of educational stakeholders to determine the negative impact on students resulting from the current funding formula. Lumberton School District stands to lose more than $2 million in state aid over the next six years.
