Lumberton Schools have applied to become a No Place for Hate District for the 2017-2018 school year. This includes: FLW, AES, BRS and LMS. We are thrilled to have this opportunity to become a part of this organization. These activities will promote respect through active learning projects that address bullying and hatred that will lead to a more positive school climate.
During the year, each school will have a minimum of 3 activities that celebrate diversity and respect as well as address bias and bullying. Each school will have a kick-off for the year to discuss the program goals. Students will sign and become familiar with the No Place for Hate Promise. More information will be distributed to parents, students and staff throughout the year. Please contact Kim Pease at [email protected] with any questions regarding the program.
