District

Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction (FT 12 month Administrative Position)
* effective on or about September 1, 2019 *
** interviews to be held in mid-late March **

The successful candidate must possess the following:

  • Valid New Jersey School Administrator, Principal, or Supervisor Certificate
  • Experience in teaching, curriculum and staff development
    * Knowledge of balanced literacy and Reading Workshop preferred
  • Experience with development and implementation of culturally responsive curriculum and pedagogy along with a commitment to equity
  • Ability to work effectively in the areas of curriculum, instruction, technology, professional development, staff evaluation, assessment, data analysis, budget, federal grants, and general supervision of programs and staff
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to student achievement
  • Supervisory/Administrative and a collaborative leadership style preferred
  • Strong understanding of NJSLS in all subject areas

Child Study Team

Child Study Team Members to conduct evaluations, therapy and case management (pre-staff meetings, ID meetings, parent contacts, writing IEP’s, and other activities with prior approval from Supervisor of Pupil Personnel Services)

  • Part-Time School Psychologist- NJ Certification Required
  • Part-Time School Social Worker- NJ Certification Required
  • Part-Time Speech Therapist- ASHA and DOE Certified
  • Part-Time Occupational Therapist- DOE Certification and NJ License
  • Part-Time Physical Therapist- DOE Certification and NJ License
  • Part-Time Learning Disabilities Teacher/Consultant- NJ Certification Required

Qualifications

  • Experience with CST case management (writing IEP’s, conducting meetings, etc.) and report writing according to discipline
  • Experience providing therapy in a school setting (Speech, OT, PT)

Pay

  • $275 per evaluation
  • $47 per hour
