The Lumberton Township School District has the following anticipated openings:

District

Extended Day Care (EDC) Consultant – Part-Time, 10 months
AM and PM hours on an as needed basis (Monday-Friday), Weekly Hours Vary
* effective on or about 12/20/19 through 6/30/20 *

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide Support to EDC staff in working with children with challenging behaviors in the EDC setting.
  • Consultation may be needed at up to five school locations before and/or after school, for a minimum of 1 hour at each location with the possibility of additional consultation on an as needed basis.
  • The EDC Consultant will be required to observe student(s) during the EDC program, document their findings and make recommendations to EDC.

Requirements include:

  • Educational Specialist Certification or NJ Teaching Certification
  • Proven track record of working with students with challenging behaviors

Hours of Operations: AM 7:00 – 8:30, PM 3:15 – 6:00

Tier II Instructional Aide (Part Time, 29.5 Hours/Week, 10 Months)

Requirements:

  • Applicant must have a High School Diploma
  • 60 College Credits preferred but not required
  • Successful experience working with children
  • Good written and oral communication skills
